Project FINE is hosting an art contest to celebrate Welcoming Week in partnership with the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts, the Minnesota Marine Art Museum and River Arts Alliance. Welcoming Week is an annual celebration that brings together immigrants, refugees and long-term residents to build unity and a sense of belonging. This year, Welcoming Week will be celebrated from September 12-20.

All community members are invited to submit original art representing the theme of welcoming, inclusion and unity. Submissions of visual art, poetry, music and dance will be accepted and all ages are welcome to participate. Submissions may be emailed to info@projectfine.org (photos of visual art pieces will be accepted) or delivered to the Project FINE office at 202 West Third Street, Winona. The deadline for submissions is September 10, 2020.

Entries will be posted on Project FINE’s Facebook page and the public will be able to vote for their favorites through September 17. Winners will be announced on September 18 and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. For more information, please contact Project FINE at 507-452-4100 or info@projectfine.org
