Guided Field Trips for Students

Students will develop a sense of belonging in a museum setting and engage in different activities to think creatively and make personal connections to works of art. Guided field trips are offered during six designated weeks during the school year.

Self-Guided Field Trips for Students 

Not available to join us for a guided field trip during the six designated field-trip weeks? School groups are welcome to reserve a time slot and materials for a self-guided field trip.

College Tours

MMAM serves as a resource for the many colleges and universities in the area.  Students can enjoy a one hour guided tour, or take advantage of Free Student Thursdays. Tours must be booked a minimum of three weeks in advance and have a minimum of 12 students.

Adult Tours

Adult tours allow groups the opportunity to explore the museum on a guided hour-long tour. Available to groups to 12 or more, our specially trained docents offer a personalized experience to get you acquainted with the museum. Tours must be booked a minimum of three weeks in advance.

Assistive Listening Devices

The Museum offers assistive listening devices on guided tours. These headsets allow for a clearer presentation on docent led tours.
